Fill out a short form with your contact and shipping details. It only takes a minute. A $5K USD deposit or authorization is required to reserve your unit.

Install & Run for 24 Hours
Your comprehensive trial kit will arrive at your property and includes: 1 x Nextac unit, 2 x kilowatt testers, 2 x temperature sensors, and banded SWAG. Simply install the Nextac unit with one kilowatt tester, then set up the second tester on an existing PTAC in a nearby, comparable room.

What is the PTAC Challenge?
The PTAC Challenge is a risk-free, side-by-side test of our Nextac unit versus your existing PTAC. You’ll measure energy use, comfort, and noise levels to see firsthand how much you could save—up to 75% less energy consumption.
What’s included in the trial kit?
1 × Nextac PTHP unit
2 × kilowatt testers
2 × temperature sensors
2 × branded T-shirts
How do I set up the test?
1. Install the Nextac unit in your test room along with one kilowatt tester and one temperature sensor.
2. In a nearby, similar room, install the second kilowatt tester and temperature sensor on your existing PTAC.
3. Run both systems under normal operating conditions for the duration of the trial.
How long does the trial last?
We recommend a minimum 24 hour trial to capture typical occupancy and HVAC usage patterns. If you need more time, just let us know.
Is there a deposit?
Yes—a $5,000 refundable deposit secures your trial kit. If you proceed with a Nextac purchase, the deposit is applied toward your order. If you decide it’s not for you, we’ll refund the full amount.
Who covers shipping and installation?
We cover all shipping costs to and from your property. Your in-house maintenance team can handle installation; it’s the same basic PTAC sleeve or through-wall opening. We also provide step-by-step instructions and remote support.
What happens after the trial?
If you love Nextac: We credit your deposit toward purchase, schedule delivery, and coordinate your full rollout.
If you’re not satisfied: We arrange pickup of the trial kit and issue a full refund of your deposit—no questions asked.
What kind of support will I have?
You’ll have a dedicated technical liaison available by phone or email throughout setup, testing, and evaluation to answer questions and help interpret your data.
Are there any eligibility requirements?
The PTAC Challenge is open to all hoteliers with a standard 42” x 16” PTAC sleeve. Please ensure you have 230 V and 15 A circuit available for the Nextac unit.
